Christmas in July Check Presentation

Hooters of Naples presented a donation of $6,000 plus 200 backpacks with school supplies to the Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County on July 26th. Current and Hooters Girl Alumni plus several regular customers including Clay Cox from Kitchens by Clay took part in the check presentation at the restaurant to the local non profit.

The Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County was formed to aid CCPS students who are deemed homeless or at risk of being homeless, with backpacks, school supplies and clothing. The mission is to make sure these students are prepared and proud to go back to school. As an all year long project, we fulfill their needs throughout the school year.

“We enjoyed the opportunity to have everyone come together at Naples Hooters to present the donation. Our team at Naples Hooters wanted to help local children who are homeless or at the risk of being homeless as they prepare for the 2024/ 2025 school year. We are thankful to partner with the Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County to be able to provide kids school supplies and backpacks for the new school year and year round. We appreciate our customers' generosity in always supporting our community efforts including Clay Cox and Kitchens by Clay and Steve and Jaime Loyd of Take a Soldier Fishing,” said Naples Hooters General Manager Steve Caruso. Since 2023, Naples Hooters has now donated a total of $16,000 plus 496 backpacks filled with school supplies to the Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County. “
