Five ways the community can help their local Hooters restaurant in the fight against breast cancer include:

1. Donate a $1 or more and get your name on a card to hang in the restaurant or take home.

2. You can round up your bill to the nearest dollar because every penny makes a difference.

3. Buy pink cocktails. We will donate $1 for every limited-edition special pink drink we sell all month. All drinks are made with Pink Whitney Vodka and only $7. Choices are Strawberry squeeze, Kelly Jo Dowd Pink Martini and Pink Whitney Shot.

4. In addition there will be special local fundraising events at several restaurants. Check out www.HootersFlorida for updates.

5. The 2024 Hooters Calendar is now available at your local Hooters. $1 from every sale of our legendary calendar supports breast cancer research.

There are 79 ladies in the calendar and poster from the 15 South Florida, Southwest Florida, Bradenton and Sarasota Hooters locations. There are a total of 200 ladies who work at Hooters locations in this year’s calendar. South Florida Hooters employees who are Feature Months in the calendar include “Miss January” Sarah Magda from Sarasota Hooters, “Miss June” Miya Vidales from Sarasota Hooters, “Miss November” Grace Burchett from Naples Hooters and “December 2023 Feature” Alannah Friedman from Bradenton Hooters.

Hooters has donated more than $10 million over time to support the fight against breast cancer, much of it through the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Research Fund benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research with $500,000 staying right here at Miami Cancer Institute. South Florida Hooters donation has fully funded a trial that resulted in a new FDA approved drug. Together we can reach our goal of raising $1 Million for the V Foundation where 100% of donations go to Cancer Research.

“Raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research is a priority of our South Florida Hooters locations. Every year, Hooters Girls look forward to the pink themed fundraising efforts to support breast cancer research. We look forward to seeing everyone at the upcoming Hooters Calendar autograph signings this weekend at the Weston, Sunrise and Beach Place Hooters locations,” said LTP Management Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.
