CHILD FROM GOLISANO CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL THROWS OUT “FIRST PITCH” AT RED SOX GAME

(Fort Myers)— Several Fort Myers Hooters Girls joined five year old Jonah from Fort Myers who was selected by Golisano Children’s Hospital to throw out the first pitch on Sunday, February 22nd at the Red Sox game.  Jonah is diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. He enjoys playing baseball and sports with his older brother.

Hooters has a year round partnership with Golisano Children’s Hospital that includes monthly hospital visits, lending library, participation in radiothons and special experiences such as throwing out the first pitch.  

Hooters is proud to be an official sponsor for four MLB teams whose Spring Training takes place in Southwest Florida.  Hooters is sponsoring the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers, Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, Tampa Bay Rays in Port Charlotte and Pittsburg Pirates in Bradenton.  Guests at Hooters get the following benefits with their same day ticket stub including a free 22-ounce Bud or Bud Light in a Collectors Cup or a free curly fry.  Special requires a minimum $5 purchase and is valid 24 hours after first pitch.
