SOUTH FLORIDA HOOTERS DONATES TO LOCAL CHARITIES FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Restaurant donates over $13,000 and teddy bears to Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, Toys for North Naples Fire Department and makes donation to Harry Chapin Food Bank
(Naples, FL) During their recent Hooters Calendar Tour, South Florida Hooters restaurants donated to local organizations including Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, North Naples Fire Department and Harry Chapin Food Bank.
On Tuesday, December 10th Hooters Girls from the Cape Coral and Fort Myers locations volunteered at the Harry Chapin Food Bank. The group packaged produce and made a $500 donation to the food bank.
On Wednesday, December 11th representatives from Naples Hooters and additional Hooters Calendar Girls delivered donations of 200 teddy bears and clothing to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County. The group presented a donation to the charity for $13,640. Donations were collected at Naples Hooters. “We wanted to have the charities treasure chest filled with stuffed animals for a long time. We received such a generous response from our regular customers with donations to help the children,” said Hooters of Naples Managing Partner Steve Caruso.
On Saturday, December 14th Hooters Calendar Girls donated toys to the North Naples Fire Department for their annual Toy Drive for Angela's Angels. Angela’s Angels is a charity for a fallen firefighter in North Naples named Angela Cofee, who was instrumental in the growth of the program of collecting toys for families in need in Collier County around the holidays.
“Giving back to our local community is a priority and very important to us. We enjoy the opportunity to volunteer our time to help the Southwest Florida community during this year’s calendar tour,” said South Florida Hooters Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.
