With your help, Self-Help International is launching a feeding program in a school in Ghana. 28% of children under the age of five are stunted due to chronic malnutrition. Many children arrive at school on empty stomachs. Hunger pains make learning difficult. For some of these children, school breakfast may be the only time they get a meal. These school feeding programs fight malnutrition by ensuring children get a nutritious daily breakfast so they can start the day well-fed and ready to learn.
