(Sarasota, November 1, 2017) Hooters of South Florida presented a check of $19,000 to Moffitt Cancer Center on Wednesday, November 1st at the 1 at Michael’s On The Bay at Marie Selby Garden. 2016 Miss Hooters International and 2017 Calendar cover girl Sable Robbert along with Hooters Calendar Girls from Sarasota Karlie Collins and Samantha Worsham and from Pembroke Pines Jordan Burgs, Jessica Nunez and Victoria Ruiz, along with Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles presented the check during the luncheon.
“Hooters is proud to be a longtime contributor to Moffitt Cancer Center. The Hooters Girls take great pride in raising funds for cancer research throughout the year. Nothing is more fulfilling then knowing you are making a difference in cancer patients lives and finding a cure,” said Director of Marking Kristi Quarles. The donation was from funds raised at the 10th annual Hooters Half Marathon earlier this year. The Sarasota Luncheon is an annual event where attendees have the opportunity to hear about the latest advances in women’s cancer treatment, screening and cutting-edge research. All proceeds from the event support women’s cancer research at Moffitt.
